ForgeAI is an AI clinical reasoning and learning engine for eye care. In OptoForge V1 it operates as an educational tool, not a live patient-care decision-maker or healthcare provider.

It can teach difficult clinical material, run simulations, challenge reasoning and support image-interpretation practice without being positioned as a patient-specific diagnostic or treatment system.

Each ForgeAI request uses your learner-entered prompt together with relevant learning context, such as:

• professional stage
• learning goal
• active pathway
• clinical interests
• jurisdiction
• evidence sufficiency
• selected Clinical Development summary
• limited recent mapped activity context

The standard in-app ForgeAI conversation is kept in application session state and is not intentionally saved as a permanent chat transcript in the learner database.

ForgeAI does not:

• determine professional registration
• certify real-world competence
• make employment decisions
• grant qualifications
• determine prescribing authority
• make legally significant automated decisions
• make or confirm a diagnosis for a real patient in active care
• prescribe, select treatment or determine patient-specific referral/triage decisions for live care

AI can make mistakes. ForgeAI output should be used for education, simulation and reflection. It should not be used to make a live patient-care decision. Verify clinically important learning content against appropriate current guidance and local governance.
